HTTPS shows that you have a secured connection even you can find a “not secure” message at the top of websites in chrome nowadays that can make your visitor bounce from your website, you need to make sure that you are using https for your website. If you are thinking what is HTTPS and how can you use https on your website? then let me explain to you this HTTPS is a hypertext transfer protocol that ensures that your website is secure, and it is one of the most important SEO ranking factors.

Check Your Website’s Duplicate Version

If your website is using both www or non-www version of your website then it will be the duplicate version f your website you will need to make sure that you are are using only one version weather it’s www or without www. Someone asks about what version should be kept, in my opinion there is not any specific version you can use anyone but the thing to keep in mind is to make one version rather than having two versions, otherwise, Google will keep the second version as a duplicate content.

Add XML Sitemap to your website

XML Sitemaps is a list of all URLs of your website to roadmap search engines to follow and search engines follow all URLs of sitemap to find content and pages on your website.

If you are using WordPress cms you may not need to take any action for sitemap when you install Yoast SEO your all pages will be included and a site map will be generated.

There are many ways to check whether your website is crawled by search engines or not the best and easy way is to check it by your google search console it will help you check in the reason why they are not indexing.

You can check them by searching “site:oursite.com” on google and all the pages of your website will be started showing in google SERP.

Improve your Site speed

Site speed is considered as one of the most affecting factors for SEO of websites it is taken in that way if your website is taking too much time to load then your website visitors will bounce back from your website and it will be a signal for Google that visitors are not liking your website and Google will consider your website is not a right fit for the query.

Find Broken Links

In this stage, you are going to find out your website’s broken links. If you are wondering what are broken links then here is your answer, broken links are those that are connected to that web page which is not available it could be internal and external. Internal broken links are easy to fix or external links take time and more efforts to fix as internal broken links are fixed by you and external broken links are not that easy to fix. You can use any tool to check for broken links including Semrush or Ahref.

Check if your website is Mobile Friendly

Nowadays most of the internet users are mobile users and you are optimizing your website for those internet users and because most of them are using mobile phones to visiting your website you need to make sure that your website is mobile-friendly, and all the content is visible in mobile phones. Mobile-friendliness is a main factor of SEO to check whether your website is the right fit for the ranking keyword.
